Yesterday evening, I had decided I wanted to take a spin through the neighborhood and see if I could find some trouble to get into in the lower security systems. I consulted my EVE Strategic Maps, plotted my path, grabbed my Hound, forgoing the Jaguar I purchased yesterday afternoon, set some waypoints and undocked.

Unfortunately, when I hit the first low sec system, I decided that if I was going to do this in the future, some bookmarks would be a good idea, so I was happy I had my Hound so I could warp around cloaked.

Making bookmarks: mid-safes, random safes, gate tactical, station tactical, insta-undocks, I have no problem with any of that, but I have realized that any naming convention that I have used… ok, I am not going to lie, there isn’t anything really unifying the names of my bookmarks together. 3 damn years and, well, never mind. I remembered, though, that Jorshan had created an EVE cheat sheet (link to pdf version, also available in .jpg or .vsd) which also listed his preferred bookmark naming system. I know I had downloaded it at some point in the past, but for the life of me, I could not find the damn thing. Luckily, with a small bit of searching, I was able to find a link to version 2 from Rettic’s site, and then get the most recent version, number 3.

So, instead of spending a night looking for something to shoot, I spent a night making bookmarks, naming them logically, and getting ready for hopefully some better fun in the future.
